Organized Transportation of Children: First Results of the Project

Since the launch of the project “Emergency Humanitarian Transportation and Evacuation Support Mechanism for the Civilian Population” in September 2026, the Charitable Foundation “Source of Revival” (CFSR) has carried out 4 trips, providing transportation support to 145 children.
Requests were received from the Department of Social Protection of the Population of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, district administrations, civil society organizations, and charitable organizations. As part of the project, CFSR provided transportation along the Kharkiv – Poltava and Poltava – Kharkiv routes.
Due to the security situation, JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” is temporarily not providing departures for organized groups of children from frontline regions. Therefore, onward travel for such groups is organized from regions where the security situation is more controlled.
Separately, CFSR organized the transportation of 42 children to the Bilsk Hillfort. The participants included children from vulnerable and privileged categories. The trip was organized to support their recreation, psychological well-being, and social adaptation.
The passengers included children travelling for recreation, rest, psychological support, and other programmes, as well as those returning after completing such programmes.
Such transportation helps provide children from frontline regions with safe and organized access to essential services and support programmes.
The project is implemented in partnership with the Charitable Organization “Relief Coordination Centre” with financial support from the United States Department of State.
