Equipment for setting up a laundry room was delivered to the Pechenizka community

In March, as part of the project “Basic Social Support and Capacity Building of Social Service Centers in Communities”, our team delivered professional washing and drying machines to the Center for Social Services of the Pechenihy community.

The equipment has already been delivered and is currently being prepared for installation. It will soon become operational and an important component of daily support for people in difficult life circumstances.

We expect that this will:

  • improve the quality of social service delivery
  • reduce the workload of social workers
  • provide beneficiaries of the Center with more dignified care conditions

Oleksandr Husarov, Head of the Pechenihy Settlement Military Administration, said:

“It is very important for the community that both international and national partners have heard our needs and provided targeted support. This solution will allow us to further develop services at the Center for Social Services and improve their quality. We are gradually introducing modern approaches in the social sector, guided by European standards.”

This is another step toward strengthening the community’s capacity and developing high-quality social services.

We will definitely share updates after the launch, along with the first feedback from staff and service recipients.

Thank you for your cooperation and joint efforts to support community residents during these challenging times.
