Any form of sexual harassment, sexual exploitation and abuse is unacceptable and prohibited in the Charitable Organization “Charitable Foundation ‘Source of Revival'” (CFSR) in relations with those receiving assistance or with colleagues. Sexual harassment, exploitation, and abuse violate human rights and undermine the core values of the United Nations (UN). Preventing such behavior and supporting victims is our common priority! We also strive to ensure a prompt, appropriate, and effective response to all reports of sexual harassment, sexual exploitation, and abuse.

Sexual exploitation and abuse encompasses all forms of unacceptable sexual behavior by CFSR personnel toward those receiving assistance and other representatives of local communities. Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to, the following actions:
Sexual harassment occurs among personnel in the workplace and is defined as “any unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, verbal statements, physical actions, or gestures of a sexual nature, or any other conduct of a sexual nature that may offend or humiliate another person.”
Actions that interfere with work, are presented as conditions for employment, or create a threatening, hostile, or offensive atmosphere may be considered sexual harassment. This can be a single incident or a series of repeated cases.

CFSR adheres to a zero-tolerance principle toward bribery, corruption, and any forms of abuse of power. Offering, demanding, or accepting money, gifts, services, or any other benefits in order to obtain humanitarian assistance, expedite its provision, change priority, or influence personnel decisions is strictly prohibited.
Individuals who encounter demands for bribes or other manifestations of corruption have the right to safely and confidentially report them through available feedback channels. CFSR guarantees protection from retaliation for all who report such violations in good faith and commits to ensuring impartial and timely consideration of every report.
Any decisions regarding hiring, engagement, performance evaluation, contract extension, or termination of cooperation in CFSR must be based solely on professional qualities, experience, and project needs. Reports of “sex for job” cases may be submitted by victims as well as witnesses, including confidentially or anonymously. CFSR guarantees protection from retaliation and ensures impartial consideration of all such reports with appropriate disciplinary measures.

CFSR staff are protected from retaliation for reporting sexual exploitation and abuse or sexual harassment. Retaliation is prohibited and, if committed, is considered wrongful and subject to punishment.
Staff who believe they are victims of retaliation may seek consultation or file an official complaint with the Ethics and Business Conduct Committee via email at PSEA@cfsrua.com
