Innovation, youth, and new opportunities: CFSR joined the Karazin Hackathon

The team of the Charitable Foundation “Source of Revival” (CFSR) joined the jury of the Karazin Hackathon “From Idea to Ready Solution”, which took place at the Karazin Science Park with the organizational support of the Faculty of Economics of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

Over two days, students, young researchers, and aspiring entrepreneurs from various faculties and educational institutes worked on innovative projects aimed at addressing current social, economic, and technological challenges.

A distinctive feature of the hackathon was its interdisciplinary collaboration. Participants represented the Faculty of Radiophysics, Biomedical Electronics and Computer Systems, the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, the Faculties of Economics, Biology, and Medicine, the Educational and Scientific Institute of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, the Educational and Scientific Institute of Public Administration, and many other university departments.

Participants developed projects in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics, educational technologies, and social innovation. They received training in business planning, white paper development, pitch deck preparation, and consultations from industry experts.

The jury included Serhii Zhuk, Director of the Charitable Foundation “Source of Revival” (CFSR). Together with other jury members, he evaluated the innovation, practicality, scalability, and future potential of the presented projects.

The winning team presented the project “Modular Robotic Electronic System” — an adaptive robotic platform designed to operate in challenging environments, with potential applications in manufacturing, security, and process automation.

Second place was awarded to AnalyticsTube AI, a SaaS platform that uses artificial intelligence to predict the effectiveness of video content before it is published.

Two projects shared third place:

  • EyeWay — smart glasses designed to help people with visual impairments navigate safely and independently;
  • VocabX — a language-learning application that combines gamification with a cashback-based motivation system for consistent learning.

Events like this create valuable opportunities for youth development, support entrepreneurial initiatives, encourage innovative thinking, and help shape a new generation of leaders capable of contributing to Ukraine’s future.

We sincerely thank the organizers, participants, mentors, partners, and jury members for their professionalism, creativity, and commitment to building the future today. We wish all teams continued success in developing their projects and turning their ideas into reality.
