Increasing the capacity of matrimonial institutions

We conduct training activities aimed at strengthening the capacity of specialists, volunteers, and community representatives working with vulnerable populations. Among the key areas are trainings on providing first aid, prevention of professional burnout, as well as training on preventing sexual exploitation, violence, and harassment (SEAH). Such activities contribute to increasing the readiness of teams for effective response, safe work, and maintaining professional resilience.

A separate area is support for the development of civil society and the organizational capacity of local initiatives. Two Foundation employees, Tetyana Filchuk and Kateryna Melnykova, are certified facilitators of the simulation game «Horizon of Change», developed by the International Organization for Migration (IOM). This tabletop simulation game helps to activate community initiatives, strengthen the capacity of local organizations, and promote the formation of effective development strategies for public associations and volunteer groups.
