The Prolisnenska community received equipment to enhance social services
As part of the project “Basic Social Support and Capacity Building of Social Service Centers in Communities”, the Prolisnenska community received modern laundry equipment — professional washing and drying machines.
The equipment has already been delivered to the Center for Social Services and will be connected and put into operation in the near future. Its use will strengthen the community’s capacity to provide basic social services to residents who are in difficult life circumstances.
It is expected that the implementation of this solution will contribute to:
- improving the quality of social services
- enhancing service conditions for beneficiaries
- increasing the efficiency of social workers’ performance
“It is important for us that the support from partners has a practical dimension and responds to the real challenges faced by the community. This solution allows us not only to address immediate needs but also to systematically develop social services, making them more accessible and of higher quality. We are gradually introducing approaches aligned with modern European standards,” said Serhii Kotenko, Head of the Prolisnenska Settlement Military Administration.
The transfer of equipment is part of a comprehensive effort aimed at strengthening the community’s social infrastructure and increasing its resilience.
After the launch of the laundry facility, the team will share results and feedback from service recipients.
