Assistance programs for organizing life in conditions of remote communication and overcoming poverty of vulnerable groups of the population provide for a comprehensive approach, such as: IT equipment (smartphone, tablet, laptop, desktop computer, graphics tablet, software, etc.).
As a result of the full-scale war in Ukraine (unemployment, hunger, disease, inability to pay for housing, poor housing conditions, etc.) it accelerated processes that had been going on for years, becoming an incentive for digital transformation.
The future that was supposed to gradually come in 5-10 years has already arrived today, increasing the financial problems of this category of people, which, without our help, will be difficult for them to cope with.
In the area of our special attention are persons who have found themselves in difficult living conditions and circumstances, in particular victims of human trafficking, labor and sexual slavery, domestic and gender-based violence, as well as victims of the war in Ukraine, internally displaced persons (IDPs), people with disabilities, as well as refugees and combatants and their families.
These programs help people who have found themselves in difficult life circumstances to better reintegrate into society and prevent them from falling into difficult situations again.
The beneficiaries of these programs, first of all, receive from us the opportunity to independently study all areas of digitalization (access to electronic document management, retail business that is even more deeply immersed in online, robotization of routine tasks, expanded use of video communication technologies, task trackers and solutions for joint remote work, education, constant access to up-to-date information to organize the livelihood of oneself and one’s family).
The main direction of assistance is most often to enable this category of citizens to independently provide for their livelihoods, for example, to gain access to training and employment in modern areas and specialties that allow working remotely (such as web or graphic design, digital marketing, programming, copywriting, and much more).
Many families, and in particular large families, from among the needy, which include schoolchildren or students, in conditions of war, are forced to receive education remotely and constantly maintain social distance. In this regard, many families have faced the problem of the lack of necessary IT equipment to organize a comprehensive educational process in a new format, this acute problem is voiced in education authorities, international organizations and all of us – those who are directly involved in the problems of this category of people. Unfortunately, not all families have the financial opportunity to purchase a full set of technical equipment to join the distance learning process and communication in everyday life.
Rehabilitation of victims is the main direction in long-term solution of their problems. Information vacuum (lack of possibility of obtaining information, constant remote communication, and receiving qualified help online) always violates the correct system of medical, pedagogical and psychological measures aimed at restoring the social and labor status of these individuals.
Our task is to involve victims in independently solving the problems of their fate, as a result of which they become the subject of their own activity, acquiring qualities that allow a person to build a new happy future, despite the troubles and misfortunes that have happened to them before.
According to charitable, public and international organizations, support in providing IT equipment and other technical assistance to solve the above problems is requested in approximately the following ratio: Smartphone – 46%, Tablet – 29%, Laptop – 16%, Desktop computer and software – 4%, Smart TV – 3%, Other – 2%.
Assistance in the form of financial support or necessary IT equipment and technology for these programs will enable people to independently provide themselves and their families with the most necessary things – food, housing, clothing, access to medicine, education, and more.
