A Laundry Room for CSSC Beneficiaries Has Been Launched in the Prolisnenska Community

A laundry room for serving beneficiaries of the Center for Social Services has been launched in the Prolisnenska community of Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv region. This became possible thanks to the support of the Charitable Foundation “Source of Revival” (CFSR), which provided washing and drying equipment, as well as 500 liters of laundry detergent within the project “Basic Social Support and Capacity Building of Social Service Centers in Communities.”

For the Prolisnenska community, this service was essential, as a significant number of the Center’s beneficiaries are unable to organize laundry on their own. The lack of appropriate conditions complicated the ability to meet basic household needs, especially for elderly people and persons with disabilities.

Head of the Prolisnenska Military Administration, Serhii Kotenko, noted:

Such a service has been needed for a long time. Today, we are able to provide more dignified conditions for our residents and support those who need it.

After the installation of the equipment, the laundry process has become significantly more efficient. Tasks that previously required considerable time and physical effort are now completed faster and with less strain on staff.

Director of the Center, Inna Riabinina, emphasized:

For our center, this is a major support. Washing and drying clothes are now organized much more easily, without unnecessary physical effort.

Project manager and Director of the Charitable Foundation “Source of Revival” (CFSR), Serhii Zhuk, added:

We are working to make social services more accessible and responsive to the real needs of people in communities.

The equipment and supply of laundry detergent were provided within the project “Basic Social Support and Capacity Building of Social Service Centers in Communities,” implemented by the Charitable Foundation “Source of Revival” (CFSR) with the support of the Askold and Dir Foundation, administered by ISAR Ednannia within the project “Strong Civil Society of Ukraine – A Driver of Reforms and Democracy,” funded by the governments of Norway and Sweden.
