Pitching and public speaking training

Pitching and public speaking training

At the end of March 2026, the team of the Charitable Organization “CF “Revival Source” within the framework of the “Path to Resilience” project organized an internal training course on pitching and public speaking, involving an expert — Associate Professor of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Mariana Shvaiko, with the aim of developing skills in effective communication, structuring ideas, and their convincing presentation.

During the training, the team worked with a key principle: even the strongest idea may remain unnoticed if it is not presented clearly and convincingly. That is why special attention was paid to tools for building a pitch and public speaking.

Over two days, 12 participants became familiar with the basic approaches to structuring speeches, forming key messages, working with the audience, and overcoming anxiety. A significant part of the time was devoted to practice — participants prepared their own speeches, presented them, received feedback, and improved their skills.

The team actively worked in groups, tested different approaches to presenting ideas, and learned to communicate complex things in a simple and clear way. This format made it possible not only to learn the tools, but also to immediately feel their effectiveness in action.

“I have many ideas that I want to share, but before I lacked confidence to speak in public. During the training, I understood how to properly structure my thoughts and present them to the audience. This gave me confidence and motivation to move forward, so now I want to practice more to strengthen these skills,” shared training participant Tamara Omelchuk.

The training course became an important step in the development of the team and strengthening the communication capacity of the organization. The knowledge gained will help to present ideas more effectively, build partnerships, and communicate confidently with different audiences.

The “Path to Resilience” project is implemented by the Charitable Organization “CF “Revival Source” within the framework of the “Phoenix: Power of Communities” project, implemented by the East Europe Foundation with the support of the European Union.
