Three CFSR Buses Transported Children to Poltava-Kyivska Railway Station

On August 12 and 13, the Charity Foundation “Source of Revival” (CFSR) provided transportation for two organized groups of children from Kharkiv region to the Poltava-Kyivska railway station for their onward journey to the Artek International Children’s Center.
The children were from Kharkiv region and had been allocated state-funded vouchers for recreation and recovery at the Artek International Children’s Center. The trips were organized at the request of the Department of Social Protection of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
The children departed by train from Poltava due to the security situation. Organized groups are sent from regions where the security situation is more controlled, so the CFSR team provided safe transportation from Kharkiv to the Poltava-Kyivska railway station, from where the children continued their journey by train to the recreation center.
On August 12, the Foundation transported 57 children and 4 accompanying adults, and on August 13, another 121 children and 7 accompanying adults. All three CFSR buses were involved in these trips. In total, 178 children and 11 accompanying adults used CFSR transport over the two days.
During the journeys, the buses were accompanied by representatives of the National Police of Kharkiv and Poltava regions, providing additional support for the safety of the children on the road.
Organizing such transportation requires careful coordination, technical readiness of the vehicles, and effective cooperation between all parties involved. For CFSR, it is important to ensure safe and organized transportation for children participating in recreation, recovery, and social support programmes.
We thank the Department of Social Protection of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration for coordination, the National Police of Kharkiv and Poltava regions for escort and support in ensuring safety during the journeys, and the Relief Coordination Centre for providing fuel support for the transportation.
