20 Children from Collective Sites Went on a Recreation Trip with CFSR Transport Support

On August 15, the Charity Foundation “Source of Revival” (CFSR) provided transportation for an organized group of children living in collective sites in Kharkiv who had been forced to leave their homes because of the war.

The group included 20 children and 4 accompanying adults. The CFSR team picked up the children from the collective sites and transported them to the Poltava-Kyivska railway station, from where they continued their journey by train to Kyiv.

Due to ongoing hostilities and the related security risks, organizing such trips requires additional transport logistics. For children who have already experienced displacement and are living in collective sites, it is especially important to ensure a safe and well-organized journey to their place of recreation and back.

On August 22, the Foundation team met the children at the Poltava-Kyivska railway station after their return from Kyiv and provided transportation back to Kharkiv, including drop-off at their collective sites.

Such trips give children an opportunity to temporarily change their environment, rest, gain new experiences, and restore their emotional resources after experiences related to the war and forced displacement.

We thank the Relief Coordination Centre for coordination and fuel support, which helped ensure the transportation of the children to their place of recreation and back.
